Dow Lewis

Dow Lewis, born April 9, 1890, Lewiston, son of William Hendricks Lewis and Julia Maria Taggart. He married Sarah Ann (Dolly) Smith in the Logan Temple . They made their home in Lewiston.

Dow left May 6, 1913 to fill a Central States Mission. After his return from his mission, he left Lewiston to engage in the business of ranching at Fairfield, Idaho. In 1913 he again returned to Lewiston to go into the livestock and farming business. He then purchased a ranch in Idaho.

Dolly Lewis passed away suddenly, September 4, 1944 . Dow married Florence Lambert Staker in the Logan Temple, August 9, 1945.

Dow was active in civic and Church affairs, serving as bishop of the First Ward in Lewiston. He passed away Aug. 7, 1951.
