Clara Jensen

Clara Jensen daughter of Neils Jensen and Johanna Sandberg was born in Logan Utah August 1, 1875. When three years old moved to Trenton Utah.

When she was two years she fell out of bed and broke her collar bone, two weeks later she came down with Scarlet fever and was terrible sick. Every one thought she would die. The Dr. said there would be a change at w.p.M. either for worse or better. Oh how her mother cried all day but at four she opened her eyes looked all around, then closed them and went to sleep and was better. Then when her brother Lewis died six weeks later, she got appendicis. The nurse said she would die and went home. Some friends came about 9:00 p.m. and her father said let us pray, all the family knelt in a circle and prayed to Heavenly Father to spare her life. When he said Amen she rose up in bed and said I am well, I am well, Isn't that a testimony.

She was the life and sunshine of her home always smiling and happy, she had three brothers and five sisters Neils, Fritchuf, Alfred, Emma, Ella, Mary, Matilda and Olena.

She lived in Trenton until she was married to Joseph A. Fife 21. Oct. 1896.

She raised a family of eight children four boys and four girls She was a wonderful housekeeper she done a great deal of good on earth, and was loved by everyone. In the later part of her life she was sick, was taken to Logan on 21, Nov. and was operated on Nov. 21 She died 10, Jan 1921 of Blood Poison, leaving her husband and eight children. This was told me by Matilda Horsley.
