Bingham's Fort - Ogden, Utah

Farrell Collett's
painting of the building of Bingham's Fort in 1853. The
framework, woven with willows, was covered with an adobe
plaster which made walls 12 feet high. This fort was located
straddling 2nd Street, mainly west of Wall Avenue. this was
one of the first main settlement areas of early Weber
