Ardell Nephi "Ike" Bingham

BINGHAM, Ardell Nephi "Ike", 78, a long time resident of Redington, died at his home on Friday, July 18, 2003. He was born November 30, 1924 in Tucson, Arizona to Floyd and Lavita Bingham. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Geraldine "Pudge" Bingham; daughters, Ardella (Tom) Christensen of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; Rebecca (Jared) Blaser of Orem, Utah; Loretta (Troy) Ross of Pagosa Springs, Colorado; sons, Faron (Jeanne) Bingham of Redington and Clayton (Natasha) of Salem, Utah; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Donna Norman of Lehi, Utah; Belva Allen of Cottonwood, Arizona; Lois Kelly of Redington; and Doreen Fraijo of Mesa, Arizona; and many nieces and nephews. Ike was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Gareth Bingham; and a sister, Lavita Mae Browning. Ike began his life of farming and ranching in Redington when he was old enough to straddle a horse and drive a tractor. He farmed and ranched in Montrose, Colorado for a few years, then he and Pudge returned to Redington to continue his love of farming and ranching until the day of his death. Memorial services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Ft. Lowell chapel, at 9:00 a.m. with visitation 8:00 - 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 22, 2003 with interment following at the Binghampton Cemetery on Alvernon, North of River Road.
