Edwin 0. Bingham

WEST HAVEN - Edwin O. Bingham, 91, passed away May 22, 2003 of natural causes. He was born Nov. 4,1 922 in Wilson Lane, Utah, a son a Edwin M. and Lorinda Octavia Olsen Bingham. He married Maude E. Wayment Feb 12, 1936 in the Salt Lake Temple. She preceded him in death. He lived in Wilson until his passing.

He loved livestock and to farm, especially dairy farming. He loved the outdoors and working the soil.

He worked for Olsen and Stratford Produce, Amalgamated Sugar Co. in the beet seed department and also was a director in the Wilson Irrigation Co. for many years. He traveled in different parts of Europe in his middle years.

He was an Elder in the Wilson LDS 2nd Ward, where he was active in many positions.

Edwin is survived by two children, a son Dr. Edwin T. and Nancy Bingham of Madison Wisconsin; daughter Sheran M. and George A. Hartog of Ogden and five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Myra Frost.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Ann Larsen Maxine Buckwalter, two brothers, Marion Bingham and Bob Van Dyke, and special long time friend Mary Hancock.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday May 28, 2003 at 1 p.m. at Myers Mortuary Chapel in Ogden, 845 Washington Blvd. where friends may call on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 12 to 12:45 p.m.
