ROY---Floyd Tracy McFarland, 91, of Roy, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 10, 1993.

He was born March 14, 1901 in Marriott, Utah, a son of James B. and Zina Jane Tracy McFarland.

On April 1, 1920, he married Ruth E. Bair in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died Dec. 31, 1940. On May 3, 1947, he married Christiana Ross in Salt Lake City.

During his younger years he worked 28 years for the Western Auto Retail Stores in Ogden as an assistnad manager and manager. Since 1952, he was engaged in home construction and remodeling.

Surviving are his widow of Roy; one son and four daughters: Floyd T. McFarland, Jr., Mrs. James E. (Marjorie) Walker, Mrs. Earl (LuJean) Stuart, all of Ogden; Mrs. Carl (Louise) Hodson of Marriott and Mrs. Dee (Margaret) Bennett of North Salt Lake; 21 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother, Russell McFarland of Liberty, two sisters, Mrs. Florence Lewis and Mrs. Dorothy Stanger, both of Ogden.

He was preceded in death by two brothers: Glen & Jimmy, one sister Maude and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Leavitts Chapel of Flowers Mortuary, 836 36th St., where family will greet friends Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.

Interment: Ogden City Cemetery.
