Owen Voss Cole
Filer Man Dies Of Heart Attack
Owen Voss Cole, 46 died at 1:20 p.m. Friday at the Magic Valley Memorial hospital following a heart attack.
Mr. Cole was born July 18, 1908, in Ammon. He married Barbara Whitehead Feb. 12, 1936, at the LDS temple in Logan, Utah. He had lived in Filer for the past 10 years, coming from Preston. He was a member of the LDS church, the past president of the Mutual and the past president of the Filer PTA. He had been Sunday school superintendent for the past 10 years and also was active ward teacher for the Filer district.
Survivors include his widow; five children, Mrs. Marlene Nielson, Idaho Falls; Barbara Jean Connie, Jesse Owen and Norma; one granddaughter, three brothers, Ralph E. Cole, Ottis L. Cole and W. Wayne Cole and three sisters, Miss Odessa Cole and Mrs. Erwin Taylor, all Preston and Mrs. W. D. Fife, Jerome.
Funeral arrangements are pending under the direction of the White Mortuary.
