Alice Lavon Taylor

PRESTON-Alice LaVon Cole Taylor, 70, a Preston resident, died Tuesday at the Logan LDS hospital of heart fallure.

She was born Sept. 23, 1905 at Ammon Idaho to Edwln V. and Olla R. Owens Cole. She married Ervon Thomas Taylor August 4, 1926 at Logan Utah.

Mrs. Taylor was active In the LDS Church and had served in the Relief Society presidency and was stake missionary coordinator. She was also an officiator in the Logan Temple. Mrs. Taylor was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.

Survivors include her widower of Preston; three sons, Darwin W. Lewls E., and Norman D. all of Ogden Utah; one daughter Mrs. Denzel (Evonna) Wells of Boise; 18 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. One son Ervon LaMar preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be Friday 11 a.m. In the Preston South Stake Center. Friends may call at Webb Mortuary Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and also on Friday one hour before services.

Burial arrangements are pending.
