David Bingham

David Bingham, 93 native of Huntsville, Weber County and former resident of Vernal, Uintah County, died Friday about 6:30 a.m. in a hospital in Magrath, Alberta, Canada, according to word received by Salt Lake relatives.

Mr. Bingham was a former justice of the peace in Uintah County. After moving to Canada in 1903, he was a judge in Magrath for several years. He was a successful farmer and stock raiser in Uintah County and in Canada.

A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he served for many years in the bishopbric of the Maeser Ward in Ashley Valley, Uintah County.

Born at Huntsville on Aug. 19, 1858 he was a son of Thomas and Caron H. Holladay Bingham. His father was a member of the Mormon Battalion and a veteran of the Cival War.

He married Harriett Perry in Huntsville. She died several years ago.

Surviving are three sons and three daughters, Hollis Bingham, California; and David and Thomas Bingham, Mrs. Hattie B. Harker, Elzada and Masie Bingham, all of Magrath, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services and burial will be conducted in Magrath. Mark M. Hall, Vernal will be speaker.
