Miss Elizabeth Thompson, 97, of 2334 Monroe died today at the McKay-Dee Hospital.

She was born July 1, 1879, in Scipio, Millard County, a daughter of Daniel and Lorenda Bronson Thompson.

She had taught school in Scipio, Fillmore Kanosh, Wilson Lane and Ogden. She retired from Ogden City Schools in 1931.

She had been active in various auxillaries of the LDS Church. She was a former member of the Weber Stake YWMIA Board.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the Larkin Chapel of the Dawn where friends may call Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday until services.

Burial will be in the Scipio Cemetery.
