Mrs. Mabel Tribe Davis, 78, of Salt Lake City, Formerly of Ogden, died Thursday morning of a heart ailment.

Mrs. Davis was born July 2, 1886, In Ogden, a daughter of George H. and Elizabeth Foulger Tribe. She was married to John Davis in Ogden. Mr. Davis died many years ago.

She had resided in Ogden until her marriage, later in Chicago and Salt Lake City. She had been a member of the LDS Church.

Surviving are two brothers, Arthur G. Tribe and Dr. Leland F. Tribe, both of Ogden; one sister, Mrs. Hazel Hendricks, Salt Lake City.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in Lindquist and Sons Colonial Chapel with Elder LaMar W. Skeen officiating. The family will meet friends at the mortuary Saturday one hour prior to services. Burial in Ogden City Cemetery.
